The Well I'll Be! Experience... Be Well!

Amy is a Massage Therapist & Yoga Instructor serving Huntingdon Valley, Pa since 2016. She has worked as a Massage Therapist since 2011. She discovered a love of Myofascial Release and continues to find it the most effective tool to incorporate into her treatments. Her massage style favors deep tissue sculpting, myofascial release and neuromuscular positioning techniques, in combination with appropriate stretching and posture application. She finds that myofascial work and Yin Yoga compliment each other beautifully as they both take a subtle approach to provide deep release within the connective tissue. In this same vein she incorporates other modalities informed by Traditional Chinese Medicine with certifications in Cupping and Acupressure.
Amy has been Practicing Yoga for over twenty years. She earned a Yin Yoga Teacher Certification in 2009 from Main Line Yoga and soon after completed her 200hr Teacher Certification at Yoga on Main in Manayunk. There she learned Inner Fire Yoga, a style of Hatha Yoga incorporating asana, pranayama, mudra, & meditation. She teaches Yin, Hatha, & Vinyasa but Yin remains her favorite to practice and to teach, for its powerful capacity for transformation and deeper understanding of the self. She's committed to sharing these practices so that others can experience profound healing and growth.
Amy has a passion for fitness and helping the body and mind function optimally. She has earned personal training certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, a FitForBirth Prenatal Fitness & Corrective Exercise Instructor, & as a Diastasis Core Consultant. She earned a Pre/Perinatal Massage Therapy certification while working as a Certified Massage Therapist in California from 2015-2017, and has bolstered her practice with a range of modalities such as Thai Massage & Reiki. She enthusiastically believes in an integrative approach to health and is committed to helping clients find harmony in their bodies and feel their best potential selves.
